fuck off silent realm i don't want to ever see your stinking face again ;o;

^^^me through the realms

I only played two of them; the forest and Skyloft. I had to get one of my good mates to do the volcano and one of my housemates to do the desert.

There are three things I just can't do in video games;
1: Play with a time limit (SO LOL NO MAJORA'S MASK FOR ME and god I freak out watching other people play it because all I can see is that goddamn timer at the bottom AND IT'S NOT JUST A MATTER OF PLAYING THE SONG AGAIN, OKAY. D= )
2: Run the fuck away from things without freaking the hell out.
3: Run the fuck away from things that I can't goddamn kill.

I had so much trouble with the lava-rock-spider thing you have no idea. I ran away from it crying for like, fifteen minutes before my housemate forced me to turn around and throw a bomb into its mouth and then the mofo got back up and chased me again

First Silent Realm trial was a beast, but the other ones I got in the first go. Somehow. Bet I couldn't do it again.

I've found that a few shots of vodka before the Silent Realms is a great help. 8D I only sobbed a few times doing them drunk in Hero Mode! (And got all of them in the first attempt. Probably barely - a combination of trauma and alcohol has succeeded in pretty much wiping most of my memory of them.)

I totally agree with you! 100%! Actually, it's like I wrote the above. I made my husband play the lava-rock-spider, and so far all of the Silent Realms (haven't got to Skyloft yet) have been played by either him or my brother. I actually have to leave the room sometimes when he's playing the Silent Realm because that music just bothers me.

I will also add to the list of things I can't (or really just hate) doing in video games:
Repeat things over and over again because I failed at something. Especially when you have 1 more thing to go, and then you have to do it all over again.

Skyward Sword's Silent Realms can be annoying, but with a combination of stealth and bravado, I made it through pretty easily. Except in the final one, where I got cornered and forgot about a ledge that would have seen me get the last one... and bad planning didn't help sometimes.
But that's a minor quibble to me. Smash Bros Brawl is the game I have the biggest love/hate relationship with...
